| Pros: Kereiakes is a moderately hilly grade with mature trees and cedars to navigate on virtually every hole that are waiting to knock down your shot. In that location are nice concrete tees, the baskets are in proficient condition and there are tee signs on every hole. Navigating the course is relatively like shooting fish in a barrel. At that place are rolling hills on the course so some elevation comes into play on most holes. Almost one-half the holes have a long and short option. Sometimes there are dual pads while other holes have two baskets in the ground. These alternates change the shot on nearly every hole they announced and it's a peachy way to cater to a wider variety of players. The nigh interesting matter about this form from a design standpoint is a number of the holes are fairly open merely utilize the trees and cedars well to present a challenge. Sometimes the trees present early problem, other times they baby-sit the basket. If you miss your line a tree will knock your shot downward and cedars will suck them upwards and you have to promise you don't state behind or inside it. I like the shot variety here, there is a good balance of straight, hyzer and anhyzer shots for a RHBH thespian. The holes with long/short choice often crave a different shot. The grade also has a good diverseness of distances. The longs plainly provide more length if that's what y'all prefer and newer players volition appreciate the shorts. Cons: Hole 10's basket seems overly protected sandwiched between two trees with low hanging branches in the gap making a difficult putt even from a bully landing spot. The parks dept apparently likes to cutting a path about 10ft broad from the tee to the basket. I'yard all for saving money, merely more than actually needs to exist cut as you lot approach the basket. Information technology'south a fiddling frustrating to have to look for a disc that knifed into the tall grass when you're inside the 10m circle. A few holes play a bit close to the walking path that encircles the class. With all the big cedars information technology isn't always piece of cake to tell if someone is coming and so please exist extra cautious. A couple of the holes play adequately close together and so an errant shot tin can easily end up in another fairway. The diagram on the tee signs is less than accurate and doesn't always exercise a proficient job illustrating where the basket should be. The tee sign on hole 9 is blocking the anhyzer route. There's a empty-headed mando at that place to keep you from throwing that route. Other Thoughts: This is my favorite course in BG (if you don't count Holler just due north of town). This is a good class for everyone. It's beginner friendly in that at that place's no rough and the only way to lose a disc is to get it stuck in a cedar. It's also a fun course for a more advanced player considering the course rewards skilled shots with birdies and often punishes bad shots. | |

| Pros: Well afterward 100+ rounds here I finally experience qualified to write a review -This is a very fair course. Although at that place are many velcro trees that will catch your disc, in that location is e'er a defined fairway and if y'all hit your gap, you will not be punished by a random branch Cons: -The Parks dept. thinks we like to have the "fairways" mown and the rest of the grass tall. Nobody likes information technology similar this. You tin throw a adept shot and accept to look 5 minutes in the open considering the grass is so long. it's hard to walk through every bit well. Other Thoughts: I really love this course. Its a challenging, fun form from the longs (for me). The shorts are a niggling boring to advanced and pro players simply others will really bask them. | |

| Pros: -Every shot in the book (bated from distance drives) Cons: -VERY catchy trees, i virtually lost a disc xl' upward in one (yes, i was doing a spike hyzer around the pigsty, risk/reward) Other Thoughts: This was my overall favorite course in bowling green. It was tough, simply if you hit the right lines y'all can score well. | |

| Pros: Yakis is i of the courses you must play, if yous visit BG KY. The 1st course I e'er played was Hobson Grove. Equally soon as I finished that round, I asked where other courses were in the expanse. I was told nigh Yakis, and immediately went in that location and fell in love with Disc Golf. Manicured, mowed fairways are the beginning affair y'all notice. The course pattern has been altered over the years past seasoned pros, and offers 6 Pro Tee Pads throughout the grade, every bit well equally 3 holes with 2 permanent handbasket options. I have played this form over 1,000 times, including several rounds with some of the all-time disc golfers in the world. I'm going to review these holes from the Pro Tee Pads, and Long Basket placements. The mature pine, and cedar trees line the fairways to create natural gaps for most the holes...you used to be able to throw over top, and had a lot more room through the gaps. Now, you must play the gaps on most holes unless you accept a big gun to go over superlative. I learned to throw rollers hither, considering I got sick of climbing trees. Pigsty ane is nice starting pigsty with 2 guardian trees by the basket toward the terminate (just not inside xxx ft around basket) Hole ii...400+ ft hole which a lot of folks use sky rollers, information technology's open the offset 300 ft with a 100 pes lined pine tree gap to the basket towards the stop. Pigsty 3......difficult 400ft slow anhyzer through pine tree mowed fairway gap downhill to an open landing zone. Pigsty 4....brusk, right sloped cedar tree lined fairway...throw low and ride the skip to the handbasket:) Hole 5...450' anhyzer uphill with cedar trees lining the fairway....Hole 6....350' straight, depression tunnel, slight uphill, pine tree lined fairway all the fashion to the basket....go a roller down quick, and information technology will work:) Hole 7.....bullheaded downhill 350' anhyzer with 1 of the biggest, coolest trees guarding the basket....a trounce roc or mako normally does the trick if thrown well...Hole 8...slope left cedar lined fairway, slight 275" anhyzer.....I throw a roller here too considering of the perfect slope (a basic anhyzer or forehand does well too). Hole 9...throw a low hyzer down the pino tree lined fairway, and spotter information technology skip to the hole (or throw a roller similar I do, and always take a look. Hole 10....dainty 300' anhyzer to a tightly guarded handbasket in between 2 cedar trees. Pigsty 11.....just throw something straight near 325' and watch it sail downwardly to the bottom. Hole 12, slight uphill hyzer (or anhyzer) plays 375', cedar lined fairway. Pigsty 13, short, slight downhill, fast green, hyzer or anhyzer around grouping of mature pine trees....or firebird spike hyzer over the top:) Hole 14....slight up hill plays 350'....cedar lined fairways, opens up at finish near the basket. Hole 15....straight 340' tight early gap....mature hardwoods.....fairly depression ceiling. Hole xvi....350' slight downhill with mature cedar trees at the end that like to take hold of your disc....power hyzer around and get an uphill putt if possible. Pigsty 17 is the best pigsty imo...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U3WxP0r8oMg or http://www.youtube.com/lookout?five=dBRo5ZoyGLY Hole eighteen....depression tunnel....375' slight anhyzer.....low ceiling, cedar lined mowed fairway....get a roller downwardly quick, or throw a forehand....good finishing pigsty. Great Course!! Cons: I become way too distracted past the scenery...too many adept looking women walking around the pop walking runway around the class:) The baskets, and signage could use some updating, but other than that, this is a peachy tournament course, that offers a broad variety of shots and options. The mature cedars and pines might get amateurs frustrated, just that's how I learned to throw rollers there:) Other Thoughts: Play this course, and hit me up if you're near....I'm simply ii minutes away.Corking safari grade, and it'south also the all-time course for glow rounds:) | |

| Pros: This is a very well manicured park with a well manicured course. In that location is a distinct mowed path to everyone of the holes, with slightly longer grass surrounding the fairway. This course volition exam every part of your game and if you are not able to throw all the shots necessary some of the holes may be difficult. I enjoyed the various array of low shots, fasten hyzers, rollers and various other precise shots necessary to score well on this course. Cons: Some of the baskets aren't in the all-time shape, only this is only on a couple of the holes. Other Thoughts: I have played a lot of the best courses in this area and this grade ranks right upwardly there with the all-time, if you are looking to play a great circular of disc golf while visiting Bowling Green be sure to terminate here. | |

| Pros: Great course that requires all the shots. I am a pretty counterbalanced player as far as forehands and backhands and this course was also counterbalanced in that surface area. Some holes you have to manage and get with a expert spot instead of being as shut to the basket as possible and I think that's a good quality in a course. The latest reviews said the course was in bad shape but I didn't find it to be in bad shape at all. The course isn't heavily wooded but at that place are definitely enough trees to get in your style. There is expert length if you play the long tees/baskets. The teepads were good and the signage was acceptable. The flow of the form was adept and could find all tees hands. Cons: The shorter baskets and the baskets on the holes with only one are in crude shape. They were not a trouble for me as a lot of the long baskets looked newer just it could be bothering if you're playing the short baskets. Also, there are a ton of bugs in the winter, that can be annoying, fifty-fifty if you have bug spray on. Other Thoughts: I played 2 other courses in bowling green that were rated close to kereiakes in lovers lane and the technical higher, and this 1 turned out to exist better than the other two and it actually wasn't that close. If yous're in bowling green looking to play, make sure you detect this one. | |

| Pros: Dearest the tricky holes. decent blend of tree placement and obstacles. Cons: Terrible markings. Some downwardly correct boring holes. From the reviews I expected more. Other Thoughts: Drive to Madisonville instead and notice a precious stone of a course. This i is average. | |

| Pros: I beloved this course. It's the kind of course you want for your home course, though BG is non my dwelling house. I plan to play it every time I come through the surface area. I love the park nature of the course. Information technology is very playable while still being quite challenging. The course length is average to shortish, which is best for near players. Information technology requires shot making and a careful analysis of the options, wind weather, etc. It keeps you thinking. Information technology besides doesn't take all day. Cons: Information technology may not have some of the severe challenges that some newer courses have, but it has plenty for a overnice day of very enjoyable disc golf. Other Thoughts: In that location's something almost this course that I love and I can't quite put my finger on it. Commonly I would charge per unit this type of course a four or so. I rate it so loftier because of certain intangibles. I love the shape of the fairways, the full copse, especially the evergreens, and the open nature of the course that lets you rip it on a few holes and but allows you to concentrate on shot shape over altitude on many holes. It has quite a few birdy holes which is a feel expert matter. It makes me want to move to BG. | |

| Pros: Skillful signage like all BG courses, good tee pads, beautiful rolling hills, multiple tees on some holes, multiple baskets on a couple of holes, Cons: When we played it only stripped fairways were mowed, and 2 foot grass rough, not a personal problem but this will put some people off. I sympathize budget cuts in city and i similar cut fairways. Other Thoughts: Kereiakes is a keen course. Most tournaments the two meter rule is in consequence and so a nice add-on would be trimming evergreens 3-4 anxiety from the ground. they did this in columbia, mo, then if you have to mark a lie in the tree at least you tin can become down in there | |
